A Message from the President and CEO

What an incredible year it has been at the Halifax Convention Centre. Although the doors of our facility opened less than two years ago, the breadth of events we have hosted has been incredible.

We have always seen the convention centre as a catalyst for building connections on a local, national, and international scale.

East Coast Hosts

Nova Scotia is known for its beauty, hospitality, and bountiful locally sourced cuisine.

We incorporate that coastal influence into everything we do, allowing our clients and delegates to get a taste of the very best Nova Scotia has to offer. We surprise and delight our clients by infusing our unique brand and famous Maritime warmth into small touches throughout their journey with us.

Our goal? To be the ultimate #EastCoastHosts, helping to create memories for our guests that last a lifetime.

More is Possible

By nature, Halifax crafts unique and memorable event experiences for everyone who visits.

Here, our city streets become your after-hours events. Our stunning waterfront becomes a natural, effortless backdrop. Our local flavours cater to the pickiest palettes.

In Halifax, you not only have a city that’s an active extension of your event but a team that’s an extension of yours too.

Plan to be Different

We’re always looking for ways to enhance our clients’ experience while they’re planning events.

More than a venue, we’re their partner at every step of the event planning journey through initiatives like our Primary Point of Contact program to our award-winning menu options and our innovative use of technology. This year, we stepped up our game to show our clients and delegates that around here, things are a little different (and different is good).

Connecting with Community

We’re proud to be in the centre of it all, located in the heart of Halifax’s culture and entertainment district.

We’re surrounded by neighbours who share just as much passion as we do for giving our guests the best hospitality and uniquely Maritime experiences. We take our role as a community partner seriously. We have created a series of community initiatives to help us stay engaged with our neighbours by demonstrating our diverse event calendar and sharing stories about how the events are impacting our neighbourhood, city, and province.
